Worship: God’s Covenant People Before His Throne
We come before God each Sunday morning as a corporate body to worship Him in the fullness of His Being. We recognize that according to the Scriptures, we are His covenant people, the sheep of His pasture, the Bride of Christ, His church.

Worship: Dialogue Between God and His People
In order to protect the sense of our corporate gathering before Him, we have structured our worship upon a Biblically based “dialogue” which involves Scriptures (God’s Words to us), hymns, confession of sin, professions of faith, choruses, psalms and prayers (all reflective of our words to Him). Although to some of our visitors, this may seem rather formal, our goal is to maintain a focus on our corporate gathering in God’s immediate presence. For this reason, we don’t have any personal testimony time or personal sharing time. We want to keep the focus of our thoughts on God in His Triune Being. We become before Him to praise Him for His great works of creation, providence and redemption. We praise the eternal Son for His substitutionary death on the cross for His people and His present reign, and we praise the Holy Spirit for applying Christ’s work to our lives.

In our “dialogue” with God you will notice a review of the gospel in the order of worship, the sermon, and the Lord’s Supper. We ask you to keep your bulletin in hand and join with us in heartfelt unity, reading and responding with conviction and reflection. If you have not worshiped in this manner before, we know it may sound somewhat different in its feel. We trust it is used of the Lord, however, to further impress you about the nature of the church’s gathering before her King. We do believe that we join with the saints who have gone before us into His presence and that we are participating in the grand gathering before God’s throne as one expression of His church militant (still on earth).

Who May Come to the Lord’s Table
We partake at the Lord’s Table weekly. Our session cordially invites to the Table all those visitors who are currently baptized communing members in good standing of any evangelical church. An evangelical church is one that submits to God’s Word, and teaches that all people are separated from God by sin and can only be restored by God’s grace alone which is demonstrated by our personal trust in Jesus Christ as Savior.
